Finding a glassy Le Beix fluorite is no easy feat; which is what makes this specimen special. The fluorite cube is so translucent, one can see the blue and yellow phantoms within. The colours remind one of a blue-green sea, with the matrix resembling a sandy beach. A beautiful Le Beix find.

Well-known to most European collectors, the Le Beix mine is an old French mine that has closed for nearly 50 years now. Famous for its beautiful blue fluorites that grew in quartz vugs, the mine was worked from 1906 until 1977.
