Fluorites from this old, iconic German locality has always been few and far in between, so it is always a lucky delight to find any at all, especially one that is so glassy with good lustre and bright colours such as this. In relatively good condition for its age, with an interesting inclusion of galena that adds to its depth.

Not many fluorite specimens were ever uncovered from this historic mine in Halsbrücke, and even less were properly preserved, due to the decades that have transpired since its discovery. Because of this, good specimens from this classic locality are highly sought after by fluorite collectors who know of its true value and rarity. The best crystals from Beihilfe display rich blue colours that have been inimitable by other localities. However, prolonged sun exposure will cause these blues to lose its beauty, becoming milky white. Other than blue, other colours seen in fluorites from this locality are purple-blue or bright yellow.

Presumably from the El Hammam Mine, which is known for producing most of the fluorite specimens found in Morocco. Despite exhibiting a bigger-than-average single crystal, this specimen is in remarkable condition and has a rather complete growth with minimal damage, making it a good example of the vibrant honey-yellow Morocco fluorite.

Orange-yellow Clersanges fluorite with sharp purple zonings at the edges.

A bright, amber yellow German corner with layers of golden yellow and blue zonings, as well as a very prominent Frenkel defect. The entire fluorite crystal is glassy and highly lustrous. Not a common quality from this locality.

Gorgeous, tricolour La Barre fluorite with yellow to sunset orange phantoms, sharp purple zonings and blue phantoms on the outermost edges. Very glassy and transparent!
