Chavaniac-Lafayette, Haute-Loire, France
An old fluorite mine with quartz-fluorite veins in biotite-sillimanite paragneisses. First worked in 1923 by A. Delabre before changing hands, with its final operation in 1979 before all shafts are closed and flooded, making it increasingly difficult to source specimens from this locality today.

Remarkably difficult to find such glassiness in this size especially.
