Appearing as a dark blue fluorite crystal at first glance, with some backlight, it really comes alive- displaying wondrous multicoloured zonings of blue, maroon, yellow and purple. Not many, if any, other fluorite from other localities have displayed such a wide colour spectrum as this.

A narrow vein mined by a single, short adit to search for lead, likely around the early 19th century. In 2000s, some deep blue to purple cubic crystals in a hard matrix of pyrite were found, though not many were found as the locality was not commercially mined.
