Home to beautifully sculpted specimens of calcite crystals included by the white quartz sand of Fontainebleau. Despite how delicate it looks, the crystals maintain their geometric crystal shape without crumbling. A French classic that is featured in Mineralogical Record’s May 2025 edition, titled “Collecting Classics: The Legacy of Kay Robertson”.

Gorgeous, tricolour La Barre fluorite with yellow to sunset orange phantoms, sharp purple zonings and blue phantoms on the outermost edges. Very glassy and transparent!

A nice example from the Maraval mine, this well-formed specimen is made up of an intricate, neat network of translucent fluorite cubes which contain the characteristic red hematite and black inclusions. Some of the inclusions also grew outside/atop the fluorite crystals like red snow.

A sweet yellow Valzergues corner with two parallel, brighter yellow zonings within and blue zonings at the edges.
