The beautifully formed, bevelled-edged, jewel-like fluorite crystal is completely damage-free, smooth, gemmy and clear on all sides, so clear that you can see the micro chalcopyrite crystals within.

The Emilio mine in Asturias, Spain has been known for producing beautiful colourless to violet fluorite specimens since the 1980s, with the widest range of possibilities in crystallography of the whole Caravia mining area. Specimens found there display various habits, combinations of isometric system as well as mineral associations, including baryte, quartz or calcite, as well as inclusions such as pyrite, chalcopyrite, cinnabar, sphalerite, etc.
